| Usually the first 15 minutes will be spent stretching followed by basic kicks, sequences and pair work. Each class finishes with a 20 minute roda. Beginners are encouraged to play as much as possible in the roda in order to develop their instincts and reflexes not just in training but in the Jogo de Capoeira. Capoeira Pernada Baiana is one of the few schools in London that practices undiluted Capoeira Regional. The classes on Wednesday and the early Tuesdays and Thursdays classes are perfect for those wishing to start Capoeira from scratch. You do not need to have a background in martial arts (or sports in general in fact) as you will gain flexibility, core strength and stamina during the training sessions. | ||
